Dr. Sobia Bano

Dr. Sobia Bano is a highly qualified educator specializing in consumer behavior, entrepreneurship, marketing, and human resource management (HRM). With a Ph.D. in Management from Universiti Teknologi Petronas (UTP), Malaysia, she brings extensive experience in teaching and research. Dr. Bano’s research interests encompass consumer behavior, entrepreneurship, marketing, gender identity, and HRM. Her work has been published in reputable international journals.

As the Director of the Experiential Learning Center, Dr. Bano goes beyond traditional teaching methods, providing students with hands-on experiences and practical opportunities to apply their knowledge. Her passion for education drives her to inspire the next generation of professionals, equipping them with the skills and insights needed for success.

Dr. Bano’s expertise extends beyond academia. She is a certified professional trainer (IAPPD) and holds the Senior Certified Professional (SCP-SHRM) designation from the Society of Human Resource Management, USA, reflecting her comprehensive understanding of HRM. This unique blend of academic and practical knowledge allows her to bridge the gap between theory and real-world application.

Dr Ummara Yousaf  
Assistant Professor

Dr Ummara Yousaf did a Ph.D. in Management Science from the University of Central Punjab and is an experienced professional with a focus on the complex study of workplace spirituality. She has been teaching at GIFT University for the last 11 years and now playing her role as Assistant Professor. She is responsible for overseeing the university’s student body in addition to teaching a wide range of Management courses. This entails planning lectures, gatherings, and tours of businesses to give students real-world management knowledge and to create an engaging learning atmosphere. She has an MBA from UCP Lahore and an MPhil in HRM from Superior University in Lahore. She had significant work experience as an SME Credit Officer at Bank Alfalah Limited before she enrolled in higher studies. Notably, she leaped into entrepreneurship and operated a microbusiness brand for three years that catered to children’s clothing. She now has a distinct perspective on business operations and management because of this practical experience.

Apart from her educational and business endeavors, she authored a thought-provoking book “Journey to an Ultimate Legitimacy.” Right now, she is working to uncover the workplace spirituality of organizations to better comprehend the complex relationship that exists between spirituality and efficient organizational administration. Her diversified professional identity is defined by her ability to excel academically, her real-world experience in business, and her active participation in student engagement initiatives.
