Industrial Tour to Saleem Textile Industry: Bridging Theory and Practice

The Center for Experiential Learning (CEL) arranged an insightful industrial tour to Saleem Textile Industry, Gujranwala, offering students a firsthand look into the textile manufacturing process!

We were warmly welcomed by the owner, Mohammad Naeem, who guided us through the entire process—from spinning raw cotton into thread to creating high-quality fabric tailored for international clients. Students observed how the industry emphasizes customization, innovation, and excellence to meet global demands.

In addition, we explored the factory’s recreation area, which reflects the industry’s commitment to employee welfare, especially for those traveling from remote areas.

This visit aligned with CEL’s mission of bridging theory and practice, ensuring our students gain practical exposure and understand industry trends for a competitive edge in their careers.
