Study tour to SONICA Industry, Gujranwala was conducted for the students of course “AI Based Climate Change Mitigations” under the umbrella of Center For Experiential Learning(CEL), Department of Humanities and Social Sciences. The purpose of the visit was to understand the procedures of the copper industry along with identifying the Environmental Problems which are contributing towards Climate Change. Students took keen interest in understanding the raw materials, manufacturing process, chimney and filters being installed to tackle the problem of Air Pollution. After this fruitful visit, students will be able to come up with the best solutions to tackle the Environmental Problems which are also acceptable by the industrialists.
